Rutgers, Here We Come

2/18/08- On February 9th, Mad Ave placed 2nd in the ICCA quarterfinals at Syracuse University, which means we'll be going on to the Mid-Atlantic semifinals! They will be held at Rutgers on April 5th at 8 PM. Come out and support us as we fight for that coveted top spot that could send us to Lincoln Center! More details can be found on the Varsity Vocals website.

Home Again, Home Again...

1/31/08- We have returned from our annual tour! Though there were certainly a few bumps in the road, we still had a great time, singing at Carnegie Mellon, UGA, and everywhere in between. Now we'll be focusing on preparing for the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) quarterfinals on February 9th. Wish us luck!

Jamnation a Success

11/18/07- Last weekend's performance at Jamnation was a rousing success. The concert, which was held last Saturday in the Concert Hall, featured performances by host group OADN, AOTA, and special guests Rutgers' Casual Harmony. Our theme was "manly men," and we closed out the high-energy set with a debut of Phil Collins' Strangers Like Me/Take Me Home. You can see videos of it, along with the rest of the our set, here.

Getting to Know You...

10/15/07- The members section has been updated! Check it out to find some fun facts about this hunky band of men.

The Year's First Concert!

9/25/07- Last Friday marked the first concert of the year, the biannual Back to Classes Jam. Mad Ave hosted the concert, which featured performances from On A Different Note and All of the Above. We had a lot of fun singing with our new guys, and it was a great way to kick off what we know will be an excellent year.

The New Guys

9/19/07 Mad Ave's fall auditions were a resounding success, and we're pleased to announce the addition of four new members! Help us welcome Matt Brown (C '10), Patrick Horn (C '11), Aleks Krutainis (C '11), and Jonathan Ortiz (C '11). It's shaping up to be a banner year for the men of 36 Madison Avenue!
