Alternatives for Simple Living is a nonprofit organization that equips people of faith to challenge consumerism, live justly and celebrate responsibly. A wide array of resources to help individuals and congregations live simpler, more responsible lives are available, including books and videos, as well as an annual Christmas booklet called "Whose Birthday Is It Anyway?" that urges Christians to focus less on "stuff" and more on traditions, relationships and alternative giving.
