Meet the DUDS Board

Carla Emanuele (Chair)

Jonathan Reams (Director of Business) Jonathan is a junior at Drew and has recently finished directing Out at Sea by Slawomir Mrozek on Drew's main stage. He started in Drew theatre as strictly a sound engineer, but has since branched out and is struggling to do everything Drew has to offer.

Ben Levine (Director of Membership) While enthusiastic about the 2006/2007 year and thrilled to be on DUDS Board, Ben is solicitous about entering his final year at Drew. Ben entered DUDS an "interested party," a math major with an interest in musical theater, and has since been drawn to "the dark side." Now a double major in math and theater, Ben has cultivated interest in acting, dance, choreography, set design, and costume design. Over the course of this year, he plans to tackle light design, sound design, and dramaturgy. Ben looks forward to leaving Drew a well-rounded and confused theaterician/mathematician.

Emily Weitzel (Dance Member at Large) Emily is a junior from Moorestown, NJ/She is majoring in theater and minoring in Holocaust Studies. Being the DMAL, she is very involved with the dance department and has performed in every dance production since her freshman year and has choreographed two productions. She loves "living" in the theater and is excited to be a member of the board.

Elyse Smith (Secretary) Elyse Smith is a sophomore hailing from Army Europe, Germany. She is a Theatre major with a Performing Arts Administration minor. She wants to someday become an Artistic Director of a small community theatre (hopefully stationed somewhere in Europe working with the government!) her hobbies include traveling, acting touristy in New York city and pretending to be German.
