...LATEST NEWS!

January 27th, 2004: Farewells and congratulations are in order to Debra Wullf, who has served Drew's graduate student population as our Financial Assistance Counselor for some years now. She's moving on to be the Director of Financial Assistance at St. Peter's in Jersey City. Wish her the best of luck.

December 22nd, 2003: Dean Rogers is soliciting help from graduate students for the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies Phon-a-thon. The Phon-a-thon will take place January 12-15, 2004. Please contact Dean Rogers for more details and to volunteer at wrogers@drew.edu. This is a very important fund raising event for the CSGS -- all help will be appreciated.

December 17th, 2003: The minutes for the November 17th, 2003 GSA General Meeting have now been posted. Please review them before the February 12th, 2004 GSA meeting. Click on the "Meetings" link to the right for an index to all previous GSA meeting minutes.

December 10th, 2003: Mark the following dates on your calendar:

  • Thursday, February 12th: GSA General Meeting, 7 PM; Steering Committee Meeting, 6:30 PM.
  • Friday, February 27th: Grad Career Workshop, 2 PM to 6 PM, Wendell Room, Mead Hall.
  • Thursday, April 8th: GSA General Meeting, 7 PM; Steering Committee Meeting, 6:30 PM.

December 2nd, 2003: Have you been in a conference or had a paper published? Dean Rogers would like to know. If you're a currently matriculated Drew student please e-mail Dean Rogers a list of your conferences/publications/conference chairs to wrogers@drew.edu. If you could also send a CC to me at jrovira@drew.edu as well I'd very much appreciate it. The GSA has been wanting to set up a "brag" page about the academic accomplishments of its students for some time now. Let us know what you've done!

Thanks very much to those of you who participated in the Cost of Attendance Survey.

Most of you should have received a letter from Dean Rogers stressing the importance of checking your Drew e-mail accounts. All library notices are currently sent via Drew e-mail, and in the near future Registration notification will only be sent by Drew e-mail. If you are unable to check your account, or would like to have your Drew e-mail automatically forwarded to another e-mail account, please e-mail the Telecom Office at telecom@drew.edu, or call them at (973) 408-3333.
