September 30th, 2003: A link to the online version of the 2003 Daniel's Directory for grad students has been posted on the Links page. All proposed amendments passed during the Sept. 22nd meeting: read the Constitution for details.

 

September 12th, 2003: The GSA Budget for the 03/04 school year has been posted for your review. Please look it over and be prepared to ask questions and make comments at the first GSA meeting of the year, Monday, Sept. 22nd at 7 PM in UC 104. You can also view the agendas for the Steering Committee meeting and the General meeting.

The minutes for the last meeting of the 02/03 school year have also been posted; please review before the meeting.


September 3rd, 2003: Thanks to Fr. Joe Farias for his willingness to serve as GSA rep. to the University Program Board, and to incoming grad student Jane Ellen Nickell for serving on the Library Committee.


September 2nd, 2003: I've posted a link to the Call for Papers listserve website on our Links page. Check it out. This listserve sends out regular solicitations for academic papers for conferences and print. The links page itself has links to valuable resources for Drew graduate students.


August 26th, 2003: Special thanks to Jack Herman for accepting the position of Arts and Letters Area Convener. Go to the Committees page for a complete list of students serving as Area Conveners and on Committees.

August 15th, 2003: Proposed amendments to the GSA Constitution have been posted. Please review them so you can give us input at the first GSA meeting of the year.

August 13th, 2003: The Orientation Schedule has just been posted. Incoming students are encouraged to check it out.

August 12th, 2003: Thanks to everyone who took the time to fill out the Housing Survey. We had a good overall response and quite a few very good comments. Also, special thanks to Gabriela Kaplan for recently volunteering to serve as Medical Humanities Area Convener, and Christopher Rodkey for volunteering to serve on the Teaching Task Force.

August 6th, 2003: Just a reminder -- the deadline for submitting amendments to the GSA Constitution is in one week, August 13th.

August 5th, 2003: Special thanks to Robert Seesengood for recently signing on to the Space Committee, and to Jessica Hausmann for recently signing on as the VRC Liaison. Go to the Committees page for a complete list of students serving as Area Conveners and on Committees.

July 28th, 2003: The first two GSA meetings of the year have been scheduled: Monday, Sept. 22nd (7 PM in UC 104) and Monday, November 17th. Check the calendar for updates.
